MedicalBillingPath.com publishes sourced, dated information about medical billing and coding training, certifications, and careers. Wage, employment, and school figures come from federal datasets. We do not promise earnings or jobs.

Standards we follow

1. Every statistic is sourced and dated. Wages, employment, growth, tuition, and graduation figures are quoted from the federal source exactly as published, with the agency and year. We do not round beyond the source or estimate figures the source does not publish. See our data sources and methodology.
2. Descriptive, never promissory. We report what the Bureau of Labor Statistics measured for the occupation. We never say what a reader will earn, never promise employment after a program, and never say any outcome is guaranteed.
3. No financial aid advice. We report cost statistics and explain how to compare published prices. We do not advise on loans, grants, or aid.
4. Independence from certifying bodies and schools. We are not affiliated with AAPC, AHIMA, NHA, CAHIIM, or any school, and we say so wherever it could be unclear. Certification details are summarized from the certifying bodies’ published materials and readers are directed to them for current rules.
5. Plain language. We write for someone deciding whether and where to train.

Who reviews our content

Content is produced and reviewed by the Medical Billing Path editorial team at Hot Key Media LLC. Data pages are regenerated from federal datasets rather than edited by hand, and every page shows the date it was last updated.

Corrections and feedback

See an error or something out of date? Contact us with the page URL and, for corrections, the source you believe is correct. We check the source, update the page with a new modified date, and record material corrections on the public corrections log. We typically respond within two business days. Privacy requests use the same form; see the privacy policy.
